    Allwyn is part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group - a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus and Italy.

    To lead on the development and rollout of Allwyn's net zero strategy as part of Allwyn's broader Social Value strategy for environmental sustainability and 'Protecting the Planet'


    • To embed a culture of accountability for Allwyn's net zero strategy across all areas of the business, partnering closely with Social Value leads in relevant teams in the delivery of this strategy
    • To build knowledge and capability of delivering our net zero strategy across relevant teams and functions and its link with driving successful business performance
    • To ensure any environmental reporting requirements are met and that the insight from this reporting is delivered to various stakeholders in a compelling and meaningful way, where data drives positive change
    To develop and lead on Allwyn's Net Zero strategy and action plan, towards a Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) aligned Net Zero pathway as well as associated targets


    • Manage the relationship with Allwyn's Net Zero partner Planet Mark and any other partner related to Allwyn's 'Protecting the Planet' theme, ensuring that they are producing high quality deliverables in a timely manner to both guide and certify Allwyn
    • To build knowledge and capacity on Net Zero with internal and external stakeholders
    • To work with the Social Value Director in engaging the Executive and Leadership Teams in a shared vision and sponsorship of Net Zero strategy and rollout, and the setting of measurable Net Zero objectives
    • To coordinate with Social Value leads across the business to ensure Net Zero plans are joined up, policies are Net Zero-aligned, and support them to meet relevant targets, including the People, Finance, Marketing, Product, Operations and Retail teams.
    • To coordinate with Social Value leads in embedding Net Zero in relevant policies and processes to ensure they align with our internal 'Protecting the Planet' principles
    • To build and maintain systems to track, measure, analyse and report on Net Zero data, performance and outcomes for upward (internal) reporting, including reporting requirements for Allwyn Group, and for external disclosure such as Task Force on Climate Disclosure (TCFD) and Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR)
    • Support the procurement team and contract managers to integrate carbon reduction strategies into supplier contracts, and provide advisory and technical support in supplier engagement strategy related to Net Zero
    • To engage with and support the 'Green Team', Allwyn's internal community of environmental champions to ensure the group is aligned with Allwyn's net zero strategy, including to promote energy saving, more efficient resource use and spread awareness of the need for and best practices to accomplish environmentally related outcomes
    • To work closely with the Internal Comms team to bring Net Zero to life across the company with inclusive engagement plans and activation across a calendar as well as the External Comms and Brand & Marketing on Net Zero messaging
    • To work closely with Allwyn Group and other OpCos on sustainability strategy, reporting and data collection
    • Ensure all Net Zero activities are reflected within the Social Value budget, coordinating with Social Value leads for their respective Net Zero responsibilities and budgets
    • Represent Allwyn's Social Value strategy and commitments across the business, beyond the NZ strategy, and communicate confidently on our achievements to internal and external audiences
    • To stay abreast of external Net Zero best practice and developments in standards, participating in relevant industry forums and embedding learnings and requirements in Allwyn's Net Zero activities
    • A passion for and demonstrable experience in delivering on Net Zero and ability to work well across different teams and functions to deliver a Net Zero strategy
    • Commitment to and knowledge of Net Zero issues, regulation, policies and best practices
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills to deal with data collection and insights for Net Zero reporting
    • Commitment to enabling a collaborative culture across internal and external stakeholders to ensure a joined up approach to Net Zero
    • Clear communicator to internal and external audiences, with good written and spoken English
    • Confident using all Microsoft applications
    • A change champion and someone who has deep experience of bringing employees at different levels on a journey relating to Net Zero
    Establish and deliver clear action plan aligned to Net Zero strategy, coordinated with Planet Mark and Social Value leads across the business


    • High quality and timely Net Zero reporting for Board and external disclosure e.g. Partnership strategies with KPIs in place with Net Zero partners
    • % of suppliers participating in engagement sessions and setting Net Zero goals
