Sheridan Maine is pleased to be partnering an established organisation that has a permanent opportunity for a Financial Controller.

The company has seen some rapid development in recent months, and the role would suit a Finance professional with a desire todrive improvements across the business.


Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include but are not limited to:

  • Production of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Development of new reporting packs
  • Provision of variance analysis
  • Work closely with the CFO to enhance budget and planning processes
  • Cash forecasting and management
  • Review, update and improve current processes and reporting
  • Manage, mentor and develop members of the team to grow with the business
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure efficient audit completion
  • Adhoc support to senior management
  • Act as deputy for the CFO

The successful Financial Controller will require the following attributes:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with minimum 5 years' PQE
  • Experience of working in project accounting
  • Customer/stakeholder focused and experienced in communicating financial knowledge across all levels within a corporate environment

Salary up to £75k.
Hybrid working.
Brand new office in Yeovil.
