Support the management, investigation and resolution of employee relations issues and provide support to the COE, Business facing HR and the business on Employee Relations matters across Europe.

In addition, contribute to the review and development of policies and procedures and undertake related tasks and projects. The ER Advisor will work proactively to deliver a seamless, quality ER service as part of the COE.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of positive employee relations through the timely and accurate provision of advice and guidance.
  • Provide advice and guidance to employee, managers and business facing HR on employmentrelated matters including contractual issues, employee relations and HR related matters in accordance with HR policies and procedures, legislation and best practice referring to senior ER colleagues and/or Legal as appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and advice on performance, conduct, grievance, flexible working, probation, and absence issues, recommending courses of action where required.
  • Support investigations across employment related matters from investigations through to advice on the conduct of the meeting and format. Drafting reports and correspondence to support the process where needed and acting as note taking support in meetings.
  • Own the endtoend exit management process for all Company instigated exits, including drafting of documentation, and required calculations, such as redundancy.
  • Take a proactive role in the continuous improvement in the management of employee relations, keeping up to date with any legislative changes and developments in best practice HR and Employee/Labour relations, sharing these within European HR where appropriate.
  • Support COE in capability building efforts in European and local ER topics, including regular updates to the ER Resource Hub
  • Support employee relations vendor management and implement change enablement activities.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the COE and broader regional HR big bets through involvement in stretch projects.

Your recipe for success:

  • Experience of operational, daytoday HR activities with a current indepth knowledge of ER principles, practices, and tools, especially in the UK and Ireland
  • Proven experience in dealing with complex cases, such as disciplinary grievances and appeals
  • Experience of coaching manager/HR colleagues on ER processes
  • Experience of dealing with trade unions and/or staff associations would be desirable.
  • Flexible, problemsolving approach and strong team player with strong customer focus
