We're seeking a future team member for the role of Treasury Specialist - Cash to join our Pershing team.

Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners, and advisers across EMEA.

We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement, and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is in Manchester and is Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage short-term liquidity by forecasting daily cash requirements and end of day positions, allowing funding decisions to be made.
  • Interact with other Operations teams and a network of external subcustodian and cash correspondent banks to facilitate effective and efficient settlement.
  • Build and maintain a robust control environment aligned to the Company's risk management framework
  • Embed a risk culture through a robust control framework focused on risk reduction and mitigation
  • Build and nourish meaningful relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Promote robust control framework focused on risk reduction and mitigation
  • Evaluate processes and operating model on an ongoing basis
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Experience within Operations / Banking or Liquidity management would be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the company
  • Ability to think laterally to resolve issues
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, and to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Risk focused
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Able to work in time sensitive and pressured environment
