An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join out team in cardiology diagnostics as a cardiac co-ordinator.

The co-ordinator role is central to the smooth running of the cardiology diagnostic department, managing a team to ensure the department goals and targets are met


Leading the administrative team to work towards the department vision of putting patients at the heart of everything we do.

The post holder will ensure that appointments are scheduled in line with our department targets for all areas of the speciality.

You will need to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, as well as community services.


The Cardiac Co-ordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient co-ordination of the Cardiac department, ensuring the department maximises the available investigation capacity and runs smoothly for the benefit of our patients.

They will work in a team-based service providing support to each other and ensuring continuity of the service.

They act as point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff and outside agencies.

The post holder will have managerial responsibility for other administration staff within their teams.

You will work very closely the clinical team of cardiac physiologists, Clinical scientists and cardiologists
