    This sales function requires a high-performing Sales Manager to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. Responsibilities include maximising our sales potential, creating strategic 5-Yr sales plans and delivering those to plans to senior management.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing opportunities for Smiths Interconnect FOCOM products
    • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensure a strong presence within the Space, Defence & Aerospace markets
    • Supporting the development of capability & product strategies by working with Engineering and Product Management stakeholders
    • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing stakeholders within the selling process
    • Create, present and execute a credible Sales Forecast
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and developing partnering opportunities
    • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

    Preferred Skills

    • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
    • 3+ years of sales experience within a Tech environment would be beneficial
    • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from conception to completion
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise would be beneficial

    Understanding of Space, Defence and/or Aerospace procurement

    • Understanding of RF products and their application preferred
