About The Role:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Operations Lead in our Digital Experience Division. This role reports into the division's Chief Experience Officer.
This a hybrid working role, where you will have the choice to work from home or attend hubs around the country.
The Digital Marketing Operations Lead will perform a pivotal leadership role in ensuring we are delivering the highest quality of work for our clients, retaining and nurturing talent, setting best practice standards, ways of working and tooling and representing your craft with the Leadership community and more widely across TPXimpact.
By providing senior leadership, care and direction to the team you will ensure we are constantly elevating our knowledge, capability and delivery standards in response to our client's needs and market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Craft & quality
- Setting standards, frameworks, processes, practices and ways of working for how we do our Digital Marketing planning & execution work to align with industry best practices
- Setting quality standards, ensuring that each piece of work that leaves the studio is to an acceptable level of quality
- Carrying out oversight on all Digital Marketing deliverables across multiple sectors, setting quality gates where needed
- Owning and developing the tool set and reporting systems utilised by the team
- Ensuring there is consistency of practice across the team
- Building relationships and connections with other similar capabilities across TPX, sharing communities of practice where it makes sense to
- Defining measures for quality
- Setting ambitions to win awards for our campaign work, and helping secure these
- Identifying and championing innovation opportunities
- 60% of your time will be on billable work at a senior level. This will be a combination of oversight and handson project work. You may choose to work on all or some of a project. You will decide which projects it is most appropriate for you to work on (considering the needs of the client, capability needed etc.)
- Key account management of our largest retained clients, actively assessing their organisational objectives, capabilities, and marketing opportunities, and devising appropriate programmes of digital marketing work
- Identifying growth opportunities in the existing studio portfolio, and proactively suggesting new workstreams
- Support with pitches, proposals and growth opportunities, either as an expert or a leader in the business
- Working with the central resourcing team to ensure the correct match between project needs and team capability, preferences and personal development
- Line managing team members and ensuring great line management practices amongst your team through regular 1:1s, personal development plans, feedback etc.
- Attracting, recruiting and retaining the best talent for the studio
- Ensuring a high performance culture and positive, enduring engagement with team members ensuring strong performance management and progression practices, rewarding good performance and helping close gaps where they exist through timely and robust coaching and feedback
- Create development plans where needed
- Design and manage a progression framework to help create clear pathways for transition from apprenticeship/junior to senior roles
- Identifying training and coaching needs and opportunities for the team
- Owning DEI KPIs and gaps for your studio, ensuring we are focused on building and maintaining diverse teams, with opportunity for all
- Succession planning
- In conjunction with Digital Marketing Director, creating and maintaining a fun, vibrant, supportive community
- Understanding the relationship between utilisation and commercial health for the business
- Owning and working with teams and central resourcing to ensure utilisation thresholds are met, raising early warning in the event of issues
- Ensuring timesheet completion for all team members (on time)
You will be accountable for;
- Building and maintaining a strong and equal partnership with the Digital Marketing Director
- setting of your studio's vision
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with other Studio Managers and members of the DX SLT and Exec (especially CXO), making an active contribution and taking active ownership for
- Helping the wider Experience capability and ensuring DX deliver on its goals and ambitions
- Owning opportunities, risks and issues relating to your part of the business
