Software Development Engineer In Test - £75,000 - Hybrid
Our client is a globally renowned payment network. They service consumers, small/medium businesses, public sector and banks. They are looking to build on their market leading knowledge to develop next generation platforms.


Essentially you will be a Software Development Engineer In Test for their Software Development team who are responsible for developing automation frameworks to help support their NextGen solutions within the New Payments Platform space.

The role will entail utilising Core Java to develop complex systems and frameworks.

You will be demonstrating your expertise in specific tools and frameworks to architect, design and implement distributed systems to support testing.


Key Requirements:


  • Extensive Core Java experience
  • Experience with Spring framework
  • Testing frameworks e.g. Junit, Mockito, Cucumber
  • Building test frameworks from scratch
  • Experience with Jenkins, Teamcity or similar
  • Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases

Nice to have:


  • Cloud experience e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker
  • Source Control Management e.g GIT
  • Good working knowledge of front end technologies
