Are you a SEN Teacher looking for a new role in Lower Morden, Merton?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join an Autism Resources Provision (ARP) within a primary school based in Lower Morden, Merton starting immediately.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic yearwith a potential to go permanent upon review. The position will be paid to scale between £29344 to £40083 per annum.

The School:

The primary school is 'Good' Ofsted rated with a specialist ARP on site for students aged between 2 to 11 years old.

The ARP caters for students with Autism however, some students may possess additional needs. The primary school consists of up to 500 studentswith the ARP consisting of up to 40 students. All students within the ARP hold an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible by public transport and has parking on site.

The Position:

You will be working as an Upper KS2 SEN Teacher within the ARP. The class will consist of 8 students with 3 Teaching Assistants to support your teaching. You will have to plan and deliver high quality lessons to students with ASD. No behavioural difficultiesis possessed within the class.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
