Description

The role:

Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations
Advising and supporting customers with specification and compliance queries
Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted
Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients, as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development
Liaising with customers via phone and through the website
Producing high value tenders covering all aspects of architectural glass and glazing
Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements
Proven track record of estimating aluminium and upvc windows and doors
Experience using LogiKal/window designer or similar software
Be able to work towards tight deadlines
Experience in the construction industry and understanding of construction tender drawings
A minimum of two years' experience as an Estimator is essential
To be able to manage own workload
Proactive, confidents and reliable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
