The primary focus of this position is to:

  • To provide advice and guidance across the Red Kite Group on housing strategies, policies,
projects, and the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer and
Economic Standards,

  • Ensuring that our lines of defence are appropriate and compliant with regulation and
legislations.

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing policies and their renewals.
  • Support ongoing development of the policy and procedure framework, including where
equality, diversity and inclusion assessments are required.

**What we need you to do: - To provide expert advice and guidance on existing and new policies and procedures and

support Equality Impact Assessment activity.

  • Responsible for overseeing and advising on policy compliance with relevant regulations
and legislations from our regulatory bodies such as the Housing Ombudsman and
Regulator of Social Housing.

  • Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative changes that would impact the business and
advice on impact and compliance ahead of change.

  • Working with senior stakeholders on initiatives and projects to improve service delivery
on compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations.

  • Reporting on external benchmarking data housing market analyse, sector risk profile
and Housing Ombudsman spotlight reports and legal case updates, sector reviews to
improve policies, strategies and service delivery.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Red Kite Group policy and procedure
framework.

  • Maintain a master list of all active policies across the business, reviewing dates and
approval routes and updating policy owners when policies are due for review.

  • To administer the database of policies and procedures, archiving, storage and retention
  • To liaise with the Executive Management Team, Board and Committees to gain policy
approvals.

  • To ensure that policy documents are populated with the correct information and following
approval uploaded on the Group's 'Knowledge Sphere' and (where applicable) on our
website.
