- Degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- NHS experience across all core rotations/areas, including paediatrics
- Ability to carry out paediatric assessment and treatment
- Ability to carry out paediatric assessment and treatment ? Specialist knowledge of current evidence based best practice in Physiotherapy and in particular paediatrics
- IT skills, including electronic patient records, word processing and email
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills, including ability to process/share complex information, and to deal with people who have difficulty communicating
- Training and presentation skills

Band 6 Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist (37.5 hours)
We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to join our team at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust in Reading as a full-time Paediatric Physiotherapist.
The post is suitable for an experienced physiotherapist with a specialist interest in paediatrics. It will be based at the hospital's Dingley Child Development Centre (University of Reading Whiteknights Campus), the paediatric wards and outpatient clinics at RBH, and at our hydrotherapy setting in West Berkshire.

You will work closely with the MDT and community teams.
You will have sound IT skills and demonstrate the Trust's values of Compassion, Aspiration, Resourcefulness and Excellence. Participation in the weekend and on-call rota is a requirement of the role.
Regular appraisal, supervision and support will be given and there is a requirement to actively participate in CPD and audit activities.
You will work alongside senior colleagues to implement new initiatives to continue to develop the service in line with best practice and clinical guidelines.
