The position Real Time Software Architect


The Real Time Software Architect is tasked with supplying software into a wide range of system components that require motor/movement control of; fins, seeker, fuel pump, booster and wing opening systems.

This is a fast-moving department initiating a transformation to continue its journey to modernisation. You'll
- define and drive a 3-5 year software roadmap
- define requirements, architect, design, and lead implementation and test software
- contribute to DevOps/Simulation/Modelling methods of software development
- work with a multi-disciplined product development team


Required:


You should have:

- history of improving teams through strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- the ability to coach and influence stakeholders and software teams on actuator software architecture, best practice, and DevOps.
- strong understanding and track record of product and software architecture.
- software architecture that is modular, reusable, and supports simulation, automation, provable quality, and DevOps.
- experience of creating, communicating, and driving technology roadmap.
- experience of continuous build, integration and delivery pipeline automation using industry leading toolsets.
- experience of embedded/bare metal development for hard real time systems
