Children's Registered Manager - West Sussex - Up to £50K

Hampton's are proud to be working with one of the largest children's residential organisations in helping them on the hunt for an experienced Registered Manager for a 3 bedded EBD children's home in Crawley, West Sussex This role provides the perfectopportunity for an experienced Ofsted manager continue to develop a successful running home using their expertise and knowledge of the residential care sector

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure quality of care and the progress children make within the home is outstanding as defined in the SCCIF and detailed within Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards
  • Mentor and support the leadership team in your setting and Residential support staff in provision of best possible childcare practices
  • Take responsibility for the management of the home within the agreed budget, taking account of all direct and indirect expenditure relating to staffing and resource requirements in partnership with your line manager
  • Ensure the daytoday management, monitoring and supervision of staff is facilitated in a professional and competent manner

Skills and Experiences:


  • Must have Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 years' experience working as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted regulated environment
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding regulations and Children's Care Standards Act 2000
  • Committed to achieve best outcomes for children

Salary:
Up to £50,000
