Customer Service Specialist

Location:
Burgess Hill, 2 days per week in the office

Salary:
£27,300 (£14p/h)

Full Time, January start

6 month contract initially
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the clients Customer Services department in Burgess Hill.

Operating within vibrant and growing markets, the Customer service team prides itself on offering excellence in customer service.

You will be responsible for responding to in-bound, routine customer telephone inquiries regarding products, services, order status, and other general questions.

Typically uses scripted dialogue and may escalate inquiry to product support, billing, sales orreturn/repair. Logs calls and updates customer account records. At higher levels, may be asked to provide responses to submitted questions throughout bound calling.

Responsibilities

Reporting to one of the team managers, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that customer order and queries are handled within agreed service levels.

Handle any customer dissatisfaction, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives; followingup to ensure resolution
Communicate with courier companies to investigate delivery queries
Maintain regular, scheduled deliveries as required by customers
Ensure all data on our systems is kept up to date as required

Requirements:

Flexibility to "go the extra mile" and full commitment to providing excellent customer service
Excellent communication skills
Previous Customer Service experience
Grade C or above in both English Language and Maths GCSE
A passion to investigate problems and find appropriate solutions
A dedicated team player
