    Kingswood Group are excited to be working with a growing financial services firm to assist them in recruiting a new Paraplanner to join their St Albans office. Open to level of experience, this firm can either offer a platform to learn or the opportunity to join at a more senior level and grow.

    The position:

    Working within a well established paraplanning team, which consists of paraplanners, administration staff and trainee advisers, the successful candidate will be providing the wider team with centralised support.

    Duties will include;

    Administration duties including;

    • Answering the phone and dealing with queries as and when they arise
    • Processing post
    • Scanning documents and adding to the tracker
    • Chasing policy information with providers
    • Ongoing management of the tracker
    • Sending out monthly valuations to clients
    • Ensuring compliance documents are in date
    • Processing information requests to providers (sending requests via email and post)

    Paraplanning duties include;

    • Liaising directly with a dedicated Adviser
    • Daily update meetings for all cases
    • Liaising with clients as and when required by phone, email and post
    • Compiling research for new business cases
    • Drafting suitability reports, generating cover letters, one pagers and other client facing documents when requested.
    • Printing and prepopulating any supporting documents required for review meeting

    Required skills:


    • Honest, reliable, trustworthy and must act with discretion and integrity at all times


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


    • Excellent telephone manner


    • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge


    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people from clients to other staff members in a respectful manner


    • Ability to prioritise work and manage own workload efficiently


    • Attention to detail


    • Able to attend and complete exams under exam conditions
