    The College appointed a new executive principal in November 2023.

    The role

    An Executive Assistant to the Executive Principal will be indispensable in providing comprehensive administrative & strategic support. This role demands outstanding organisational abilities, utmost professionalism, & the skill to manage sensitive information discreetly. The right candidate will be proactive & adept at handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Administrative Support: Deliver top-tier administrative assistance, including diary management, organising meetings, & arranging travel.

    Communication Management: Act as the main contact for all internal & external communication, ensuring smooth information flow to & from the executive principal office.

    Document Preparation: Craft, refine, & review letters, reports, presentations, & other documents, maintaining precision & attention to detail.

    Meeting Coordination: Plan & conduct meetings, set agendas, record minutes, & oversee the execution of agreed actions.

    Project Management: Aid in the development, execution, & monitoring of projects, aiming for timely achievement of objectives.

    Stakeholder Liaison: Build & sustain positive relationships with staff, students, parents, & external partners as a representative of the executive principal.

    Event Planning: Manage the logistics for various events, conferences, & workshops connected to the executive principal office's initiatives.

    Confidentiality: Protect sensitive information with strict confidentiality.

    Research & Analysis: Undertake research, gather data, & prepare materials for review & presentation.

    Budget Management: Support in budgeting & financial management for the executive principal office.

    Personalised Administrative Support: Provide customised support that aligns with the working style & needs of the executive principal.

    Person Specifications

    • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
    • Superior written & verbal communication abilities.
    • Excellent attention to fine detail.
    • Strong organisational & time management skills, with the capability to juggle multiple tasks.
    • Experience in minute-taking for various meetings.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & other office management software.
    • Ability to work both independently & collaboratively.
    • Proven discretion with confidential information.
    • Strong problem-solving & decision-making aptitude.
    • The flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities & seize new opportunities.
    • A team-oriented approach with self-management skills & the ability to build relationships.
    • Prior experience in an educational environment is advantageous.

    Working Conditions

    • This is a full-time on-site role requiring occasional overtime.
    • Based at the head office in Oxford, with potential travel for meetings & events.
