    Product Specialist - Electrophysiology and Multiphoton Imaging

    UK based, EMEA coverage

    £30,000 - £40,000 per annum + bonus(es) + benefits

You'll have an invested manager, ongoing support from your team, plus the added bonus of helping globally prominent Life Scientists with their research challenges. Our products allow researchers to gain a better understanding of the nervous system and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Epilepsy.

    Overview

    You might not have worked in sales before, but that's okay, neither had many of the team you're joining and there's a reason we're looking for team member number 8. Your strong hands-on experience with electrophysiology and/or multiphoton equipment paired with your desire to succeed will be very much valued.

    • Introducing Scientifica and our products across Pharmaceutical, Academia and top global Research Institutes.
    • You will be creating, developing and executing your own sales plan to meet and exceed targets.
    • Uncovering, Managing and Closing sales opportunities.
    • Consulting with globally prominent Life Scientists on the best solutions for their application and research.
    • Maintaining customer relationships and travelling to customer sites to provide sales support, give demonstrations and attend exhibitions.
    • Manage the end to end sales process – including consulting, making recommendations, providing technical quotations, to subsequent closing and ongoing development of the relationship.
    • Some National travel will be required, with added opportunity for International travel.

    You'll be UK based but working remotely, unless you're on sales visits of course. The team are predominately field or home based and with video calls being a regular occurrence, you'll never be far from interaction, guidance and support if you need it.

    Criteria

    • A degree in Life Sciences (Neuroscience would be a bonus)
    • Expertise in electrophysiology and multiphoton imaging - particularly Patch-clamp & other neuroscience techniques
    • Ability to quickly learn new and technical subjects / information - being able to retain and use this is critical to success
    • An interest in the field Proactively staying up to date with Neuroscience research and developments
    • Confident communicator, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
    • Enthusiastic team player
    • Highly organized with solid time management skills
    • Added language skills from the EMEA region beneficial but not essential.
    • Previous sales experience is beneficial, but certainly not essential
