    About the role

    You will work with the management team to lead on our recruitment and HR policies / processes. The main duties of the role include:

    • Creation and management of HR policies and processes
    • Identification of new potential hires using job sites and LinkedIn
    • Leading the initial round of the recruitment process
    • Issuing offer letters, schedule of services and contracts of employment
    • Managing the onboarding of staff, including inductions
    • Managing the offboarding of staff, including exit interviews
    • Helping to enhance a positive and collaborative workplace culture
    • Assistance with salary benchmarking
    • Implementation and management of internal employee benefits
    • Communication of employee benefits to encourage effective usage
    • Design and implementation of wellbeing initiatives and activities
    • Organisation of staff events
    • Management of disciplinary and grievance processes

    This is the first time the company has had an internal People / HR Manager, and you would be the sole HR Professional within the business until the company grows to the next level.

    Required skills / experience

    • At least 3-4 years of experience in Human Resources within a financial or professional services organisation
    • CIPD qualification or equivalent is essential for this role
    • Strong understanding of employment law and best practice
    • Track record of helping to foster and maintain a positive company culture
    • You're able to work from our Brighton office one to two days per week (including Friday, which is our weekly 'office day')

    What we can offer you

    • Salary of £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience (based on full time hours)
