A high growth fashion retailer is looking to hire a Management Accountant to support the business growing internationally. This is a key role within the finance team, working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager.
As a Management Accountant, your key responsibilities include:
Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
Responsible for analysing financial performance, producing commentary, understanding the what this means to the business in terms of opportunities and risks, and delivery this information to the senior management team
Work closely with stakeholders, ensuring all reports support local standards (IFRS)
Involved in balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting in creating finance strategy, including understanding VAT implications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Management Accountant, in particular having managed and prepared the month end close process.

Experience in retail or in a multi-channel consumer business is beneficial.
