Description

Quality Engineer with an extensive knowledge of and background in the automotive industry, required to join a well-established leading manufacturer based in Kings Norton, Birmingham.

Offered as a permanent contract, as Quality Engineer , you would be responsible for conducting and defining Quality Engineering activities, to ensure that the product quality fully meets customer and company requirements; ensuring customer and company quality requirements are maintained throughout production life and maintaining effective communication throughout the business to ensure a robust QMS is implemented and maintained.

Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities

Conduct Internal Audits covering both Quality and Environmental Standards
Contribute towards setting Quality and Environmental Standards
Lead root cause analysis and assist with the resolution of quality concerns
Flexibility to undertake training and provide support within Quality Department as required
Ensure housekeeping in the Quality area is maintained in a satisfactory condition
Effective use of performance charts to present actions and tracking of actions & status
To provide support to manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns and promote quality. On receipt of quality concerns, evaluate and implement containment activity, both internally and externally
Planning of workload to ensure completion of activities within agreed timing program
Successful candidate for the role of Quality Engineer must possess:

Determination to ensure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is ensured
