Software Developer.

Location:
Remote.

Salary:
up to £50,000 DOE.

Technology Requirements:
We are on the search for a software developer with hands-on experience within the Azure environment. We are open to programming languages as we are operating in the micro-services environment.

The Role

You will bring your previous Azure experience to the team. You will initially look at the Azure environment suggesting any improvements and maintaining that environment. You will then be tasked with bringing other parts of that business into the environment.
Working with the software development team reporting to the Head of Development you will be responsible for building and maintaining web solutions from specification through to final deployment.
To propel our digital and technology journey for key areas of our business develop complementary software solutions that integrate COTS solutions, and bespoke hardware and produce unique platforms and solutions that delight our customers.
Driven, with an eye to recognise areas of improvement that can drive efficiency savings through automation and deliver technical solutions through the team that delivers levels of excellence for internal and external customers alike. You will be workingin a fastpaced, energetic, supportive, and friendly environment with the potential to shape our solution's future.
We generally work on projects as a team, although you may sometimes work on projects on your own. We share best practices across the team and gain consensus for common approaches without forcing projects to be developed in a restrictive way.
We are looking for somebody passionate about building the best software solutions that run smoothly and intuitively.
Providing support to new and existing internal customers and helping resolve any software issues that occur.
Being part of a small team, the expectation is to turn your hand to multiple technologies and be agile in your daytoday approach.
You must be an excellent communicator, can eliminate jargon when necessary, and be able to dive deep into technical details when working with development staff.
You must be an avid learner, keeping up to date with new technology to evaluate its impact.
We are passionate about information security; our customers demand this. Parts of the business sit within our ISO 27001 accreditation. All processes, changes, developments, etc involving our systems need to sit within our ISO 27001 ethos and methodology.

Maintaining the security of our customer's data is of paramount importance.

Required

Commercial experience as a software developer.
Experience creating new resources within Azure.
Creating and updating CI/CD pipelines.
Reallocating "physical" resources of the VM / App Services.
Troubleshoot networkrelated issues.
