Our client:

Our client is a well-established and progressive firm of accountants based in North West London. Their services include accounting, auditing, tax, financial planning, payroll and business consultancy.

Their expertise is geared to working with owner-managedbusinesses, small to medium sized companies, business start-ups, and UK subsidiaries of overseas groups.

The Role:

They are recruiting for a qualified or qualified by experience
an Accountant / Service Charge Accountant to work within their audit department, to assist the partners and managers in delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation services, and to manage and allocate work to audit trainees.

Not necessarily qualified, you should have at least 2 years relevant experience in accounting and within the
residential property management industry.

This is an exciting role for a professional with some experience who is looking to develop and grow with the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and completion of accounts, tax computations, reports and audit under supervision within the Service Charge and Accounts Departments
Adhering to the departmental policies and procedures
Attending department meetings client complete accounts assignments including completing and signing off all sections for manager
Liaising with agents and client staff to complete assignments and clear queries
Completing all work assigned within budget to the required quality with mínimal unresolved queries
Preparing service charge accounts in line with the latest guidance and specific to each agent / client requirements
Preparing fully compliant associated company accounts
Full completion of workings file, preparation of draft accounts and letter of representation
Communicating clearly in both written and verbal channels
