    Job Description

    Diligent and conscientious Dealing Administrator sought to work in a professional office environment at an investment management company, delivering high quality work against tight timescales.

    Data entry required and competent use of a variety of systems to process client instructions into a range of investment funds. Initiative required in checking for mistakes / issues and communicating effectively with other team members and management, to avoid costly errors.

    Key aspects are as follows:

    • The ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, delivering high quality work against tight timescales.
    • Processing and authorising deal instructions to buy, sell and transfer units/shares in the Margetts funds received by email, post or telephone.
    • Placing and confirming portfolio investment trades and liaising with other departments where appropriate.
    • Identifying potential issues through analysis of client/agent instructions and liaising with other departments where appropriate.
    • Help with project development.
    • Identify and develop process efficiencies.
    • Management of electronic dealing systems.
    • Maintenance of the client and adviser register, including scheduling monthly investment activity (Regular Investment/Withdrawal runs, Adviser Charges).
    • Understanding regulatory requirements affecting the role specifically and financial services in general.
    • Allocation of work through categorisation of scanned mail items into Workflow systems.
    • Flexibility in the role to cover other general office duties as required.

    An ideal candidate will be logical, numerate, take great pride in the accuracy and quality of their work and be prepared to learn and develop within a team-based role. Relevant experience within the financial services sector is preferred.
