    We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager from a commercial solar sales background, to lead the sales pipeline and develop business primarily for renewable solutions in the Solar industry.

    Our Client is an Energy Solutions provider forming an innovative business unit specialising in low carbon & renewable energy solutions for clients across the public & private sectors.

    They are experts in supporting their clients to achieve their energy management, sustainability, decarbonisation and net zero ambitions.

    This is a Hybrid role and you will be required to visit the Manchester office 3 days a week.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Develop new sales opportunities through relationship management and product knowledge.
    • Negotiate deals alongside the Head of Business Development to create new deals for customers.
    • Maintain consistent and accurate notes and data on the CRM system.
    • Going onsite to customer premises and performing energy evaluations and looking at the older technologies they use and building a complete solution to decarbonise their energy usage.
    • 50/50 new business and account management
    • Dealing with both public and private sector clients.
