Job Title: 2 x Senior Finance Assistant

Location:
Glasgow, on-site

Contract: 3-6 months temporary, full-time

Hourly rate:
£14-£17 per hour

AJ Connect is delighted to be supporting a Real Estate business based in Glasgow City Centre to appoint two Senior Finance Assistants on an interim basis.

The Senior Finance Assistant's primary duties include supporting the Head of Finance and the wider business on all financial matters with a primary focus on VAT, monthend, bank reconciliations, and purchase and nominal ledgers.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Head of Finance with monthend and management accounts
Supporting VAT payments and procedures
Bank reconciliations of multiple bank accounts
P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
Matching, batching, and processing invoices purchase ledger, and nominal ledger
Supporting the finance team and wider business with adhoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience required

Experience in banking procedures, including online management of bank accounts
Experience in maintaining purchase ledgers and nominal ledgers
Methodical approach to your work
Sound administrative and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate information to individuals whilst being aware of the need to be clear and concise
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet organisational needs and targets
Good general level of education.
