We are pleased to be working with a leading FMCG business in the search for an Operations Director. This will be a direct link between the board and operational teams, requiring a balance of leading from the front to bring energy to the team and an intelligence and commercial awareness to make business critical decisions.

The task at hand will be to implement the strategy down to the day to day and you will need to be at the forefront of to make this a success. As all UK FMCG continues to develop and change with challenges around labour, cost and automation there will be an emphasis on future proofing the business operationally and working closely with your team to improve OEE and deliver margin, quality and service.

You'll be responsible for all operational aspects of site including production, operations, H&S, technical, supply chain and engineering. Elements of the role include financial reporting to support the finance team and implementing CI to drive improvements.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in an Operations Director or similar role in an FMCG company.

• A strong leader and character who can develop strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering business objectives through strong operational performance.

• Capability to report to the board and a commercial awareness.

• Strong understanding of continuous improvement and implementing new processes.
