Project Delivery Officer

Fixed Term until March 2024

Part Time,18 hours per week

SO1, £30,151 - £32,020 pro rata


Craven District Council has been successful in securing £1.9million from Historic England to deliver a four-year High Street Heritage Action Zone project focused on improving the commercial strength of Skipton town centre.


The project is in its third year and the delivery of activity is underway, including the creation of workspace and studios for young creatives; improvements to the concert hall in the Town Hall; creating a more vibrant and engaging public realm and delivery of a local engagement plan.

The Project Delivery Officer will also have an active role in supporting the Skipton Cultural Consortium to deliver a unique range of cultural activities.


The Council is looking to appoint a Project Delivery Officer with experience, motivation and enthusiasm to deliver the final phase of activity.

Working alongside the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for actively engaging with business owners, local community and voluntary groups to encourage active engagement with the heritage and culture of Skipton town centre.
