Description

You will support and align local operations, formulations, regulatory, quality and sales departments to acquire raw materials in a cost effective and timely manner.


In this role you will analyse vendor proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure sourcing requirements are reflected in the implementation of contracts.


The role will also involve working with the Companion Animal and Global Procurement network to optimise market intelligence and create value across agreed regions.


In addition, you will support the category leads and other buyers of companion animal raw materials to define the Category sourcing strategy by providing purchasing solutions at lowest cost and recommending cost saving proposals.


To succeed in this role you must have previous experience in a buying environment with solid knowledge of supply management.

You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to acquire and maintain technical understanding of the products purchased. An understanding of customer requirements and the impact on inventory management
