    Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced *Healthcare Assistant* to support a 3-year-old boy, in *Teignmouth*, who has Congenital Myopathy disease and therefore needs support with suction, PEG feeding, Bi-pap and there will be various medication handling.

    This lovely little boy lives with his mum, dad, and sister and is very close with his grandparents.

    He has recently started at nursery so is becoming a lot chattier and is a happy smiley boy when well.

    He loves music, sensory books, cars, and animals.*You will be working 1:1*The ideal candidate would be a resilient, seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling.*You need to be an experienced carer.
    • It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. Training is paid for.

    Pay Rates:

    £12.75 p/hr Monday - Friday
    *£15.30 p/hr Saturday - Sunday
    £18.30 p/hr Bank Holidays_We offer the option to be paid __Weekly __or __Monthly__. Speak to one of our team to find out more.


    _Shifts:
    Bank Contract Available, Various Part Time Hours*It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.*Full mileage paid from home to this location in TEIGNMOUTH up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.*While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

    You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
