    Join our Asset Services team as an HGV Driver and Survey Technician at TRL Headquarters in Wokingham, Berkshire. Our team is dedicated to designing, undertaking, and analysing data from Infrastructure Asset surveys and investigations.

    With a particular emphasis on pavements and highways, our team are experienced in undertaking projects at all scales from traffic speed network level surveys to scheme level structural investigations.

    This role offers a dynamic working environment on and off site, UK travel and will regular night shifts.

    Drive fleet vehicles, including HGVs and other specialist vehicles, and assist the survey team in pavement surveys, prioritising safety protocols.

    Assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance across the fleet.
    Participate in pavement surveys and laboratory testing, following safety procedures rigorously.
    Understand and execute survey and laboratory methods accurately, adhering to precise processes.
    A valid HGV licence is essential
    Experience with risk assessments and method statements
    Knowledge and experience in data collection utilising a Deflectograph, GPR, Coring/Diamond drilling, Window Sampler for soil sampling, and conducting utilities surveys following PAS128 guidelines are desirable
    Proficiency in MS Office and general IT skills
    Certifications such as CSCS and NRSWA are a bonus
