    A global name in the Interior Architecture industry is seeking an experience Project Manager with 8-10 years post qualification to join their London office of over 100 professionals. This is a rare role to be involved with some of the BEST international and UK based commercial developments with a key client which will likely be featured in the Architectural press.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. You must be able to show proven experience that you have been responsible for the management of multiple design projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Define, oversee, and manage the scope of work and services, along with project schedule and resource plan.
    • Craft and negotiate proposals, fees, schedules, and contracts with clients and consultants.
    • Ensure clear and timely communication within the project team, highlighting any risks to project goals promptly to leaders.
    • Foster a positive team environment and contribute to staff development and retention.
    • Monitor project team performance to uphold quality standards and design objectives.
    • Coordinate staffing resources in alignment with the studio's operations director.
    • Establish and maintain project setup, including contract review, filing procedures, and invoicing.
    • Meet or surpass financial goals for the project, providing necessary information to the finance team for invoicing.
    • Maintain direct communication with clients and consultants for timely collections and management of accounts receivable.
    • Monitor client and technical issues to mitigate liabilities.
    • Execute post-contract administrative tasks, such as follow-up calls for client satisfaction and gathering marketing leads.
    • Ensure orderly project closure in compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Engage in marketing activities and promote collaboration across disciplines and offices within the firm.
    • Cultivate and sustain client relationships to encourage repeat business.
    • Contribute to the training, development, and mentoring of the project team.

    Qualifications

    • degree in architecture/design/design management/project management
    • desirable: project management qualification such as PRINCE, APMP or diploma
    • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
    • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
