    Description

    WCC Group is a growing Civils, specialist rope access and confined space company, operating in Helensburgh on the West Coast of Scotland.

    Our Civils team carry out the following types of work:

    Groundwork; drainage and ducting, concrete, excavations, minor demolitions, facility maintenance, etc
    Security fencing works; fence panel repairs, installations, razorwire repairs etc.
    Ground maintenance; scrub and vegetation clearance, tree removal, culvert/drainage clearing, chemical spraying.


    WCC group are seeking new team members to join our civils team as general/semi-skilled operatives as we are experiencing rapid growth within this area of our operations.

    Your role will vary day-to-day.
    Working away from home may occasionally be required, expenses are paid for when working away.

    Due to the Security nature of our work UK Citizens ONLY

    Responsibilities
    Carry out work promptly and safely.
    Comply with company health, safety and environmental standards.
    Ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported.
    Assist the skilled technicians with general labouring duties & site preparation.
    Movement of machinery and materials/ Use of hand and power tools.

    Qualifications
    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    Required
    Must already hold, or be willing to undergo the Security Clearance, (SC), process.
    Abrasive Wheel training.
    CSCS/ or NPORS card.

    Desired
    Full clean driving licence.

    On-the-job training will be provided to ensure you have the necessary skills to undertake your duties safely.

    Hours:
    Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16: hours per week. Paid overtime is available.

    Salary:
    £ £14.50 per hour.

    Holidays: 28 days per annum.
