    What you'll be doing

    As a Highway Maintenance Operative you will:

  • Provide winter maintenance operations including participating in a shift system and winter standby rota;
  • Be responsible for traffic management;
  • Participate in emergency response on a rostered basis;
  • Civil works e.g. Carriageway patching, drainage and fencing repairs;
  • Cyclic works e.g. Sign cleaning, gully cleaning and grass cutting.
  • Who we're looking for

    The following qualities and experience are essential:

  • Class 1 or 2 LGV licence;
  • In receipt of Driver CPC qualification;
  • NHSS 12 AB Foreman/LTMO;
  • Knowledge and awareness of health & safety procedures and standards.
  • The following qualities/experience are desirable:

  • Winter maintenance experience;
  • NRSWA Qualification;
  • First Aid Qualification;
  • CPCS Telescopic Telehandler.
