    Bringing together knowledge and experience in critical rail infrastructure and track renewals, the alliance deploys innovative working methods to realise efficiencies and create a more reliable railway infrastructure.

    What you'll be doing

  • Ensure all staff have the necessary skills and are competent to undertake all duties safely, efficiently and to Contract Specification.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Produce status and progress reports on site works.
  • Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with the WPP and any deviations from programme timings are reported.
  • Undertake track and safety inspections as stipulated by Network Rail Line Standards and CRSA procedures and Contract requirements
  • Assist in the production of task briefs.
  • Undertake accident/incident investigations as required.
  • Procure tool, materials, small plant, lights etc for contracted works.
  • Maximize resource utilization for efficient delivery of works.
  • Ensure that tasks are executed by skilled personnel.
  • Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience supervising permanent way maintenance/track renewals.
  • HNC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of track renewals disciplines.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety at work (HASAW) rules and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to write reports in a clear and concise manner.
  • Personal Track Safety (PTS) certified and Controller of Site Safety (COSS) qualified.
  • A proficient user of Microsoft Office(formulas,tables, graphs and analysis)
  • Driving Licence (essential)
