City CID Police Staff Investigator Level 2

Nottinghamshire Police currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, self-motivated individual with the ability to engage with people to join our wider policing team.

We are seeking to recruit one individual to start immediately to assist in the investigation of serious and/or complex crime within the City CID.

The ideal candidate will have an experienced background in reactive PIP2 investigations, and will have previously of mentored/tutored others within a team.

Main Purpose of Role

Must be PIP Level 2 qualified - as a qualified PIP2 Investigator, you will conduct serious and complex investigations, interview victims and witnesses in relation to serious and complex investigations and interview suspects in relation to serious and complex investigations. To prepare and complete files in accordance with court deadlines, legislation, and force policy, ensuring that crimes under investigation are compliant with Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) and the Victims Charter.
