    YOUR ROLE


    Our FMCG operation based in Mendlesham have an exciting opportunity for a highly focused and meticulous Production Line Leader where you will lead, run, and operate the new automated packing line ensuring efficiency to meet client requirements and operational demands.


    This role will see you working a fixed shift starting at 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday, although flexibility is required.

    WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

    Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

    Optimise machine availability to meet operational requirements.
    Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment legislation.
    Liaise with operations regarding opportunities to undertake servicing to maximise productivity.
    Provide support to improve operational key performance indicators.
    Verify correct machine products, labels, packaging.
    Complete and manage production data spreadsheets.
    Maintain planned maintenance records providing an accurate history of equipment to aid fault findings.
    Support with fault investigation in collaboration with management to improve operational flow.
    Support with operational continuous improvement initiatives.
    Carry out assigned ad hoc tasks as required.


    This role will report directly into the warehouse supervisor; however, you will engage with multiple operational colleagues daily leading on operational decisions to improve productivity of the automated packing line.

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    To be successful in your application you will have proven experience within a production or automated line warehousing environment.

    You will have some experience of line maintenance, with an inquisitive mindset where you will actively problem solver, ensuring operational efficiency, demonstrating the ability to change over, clean down and start step line activities without the guidance of management.

    It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator, demonstrating a curious mindset and a strong attention to detail.


    It would be desirable, however not essential if you have proven experience of working within an automated warehousing environment acting as a line technician or multiskilled engineer.
