    Description
    Commercial Gas Engineer (Mobile)

    Permanent, full time position

    50 per hour (basic) for minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime and on call requirements


    Call out rota:
    1 in every 3-5 weeks

    Company van provided (with private use available)

    Door to door payments (paid travel time)


    We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team at a successful Facilities Management and Building Services company.

    The job will include carrying out a variety of mechanical installation, maintenance, reactive and PPM works, in accordance with current regulations.

    Carry out installation, maintenance and reactive works on plumbing jobs including but not limited to central heating systems, water pipes, waste pipes, and commercially plumbed in appliances


    • To attend all planned works to test or maintain Gas/Plumbing equipment/installations
    • To work safely from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
    • To be flexible with start and finish times, carrying out works with minimum disturbance to clients and their trading (if applicable)
    • To work outside of normal hours both weekends and nights
    • To complete and return all paperwork to the office in the agreed time scales using the relevant resources e.g. tablet
    • Able to test own Gas installation/maintenance works
    • C&G Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
    • Valid Commercial Certification (in accordance with Gas safe regulations/standards)
    • IPAF
    • Commercial Gas Qualifications (desirable)
    • Driving Licence (Full UK)
