Senior Process Improvement Manager - Bury St. Edmunds


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process Improvement Manager to work with a recognisable and established brand in Bury St.

Edmunds. Suffolk.


The role is well suited to a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) that has a passion for process improvement and development.


The role

  • Working as an integral part of the Leadership Team
  • Understanding end to end business processes and influencing the whole business to adopt class leading processes and systems
  • Spearhead the introductions of new systems / processes through the attendance of operational and area meetings
  • Working with other managers to identify potential improvements in systems / processes
  • Constructing business cases to invest in new / enhanced systems for sign off by the Finance Leadership Team
  • Presentation of business cases / project updates
  • Liaising with Head of Central Operations Divisional roles to discuss service levels and emerging changes in processing / Ways of Working
  • Line management of the master data function to deliver efficiencies and high levels of accuracy in data handling
  • Preparing testing and implementation plans for new systems and processes
  • Preparing communication plans for larger project roll outs
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified with strong post qualification experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable public speaking and presenting financial information
  • Proven team management skills and experience
  • Advanced Excel, BI tools and Access
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Knowledge of the Retail or hospitality service is highly advantageous
