Head of Sustainability

£90k-£100k + Package

One of the largest design and build practices in London, specialising in commercial fit-outs, is looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Sustainability to lead our sustainability efforts and help us achieve our ambitious goals.

As Head of Sustainability, you will sit on the Board of Technical Directors and will be responsible for developing and implementing a sustainability strategy that aligns with our business goals and values.

You will work closely with our design and construction teams to ensure that sustainability is integrated into every aspect of our projects.

You will also engage with our clients and partners to promote sustainable practices and create a culture of sustainability throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a sustainability strategy that aligns with our business goals and values.
Work closely with our design and construction teams to ensure that sustainability is integrated into every aspect of our projects.
Engage with our clients and partners to promote sustainable practices and create a culture of sustainability throughout the company.
Deliver projects to BREEAM, WELL, and SKA standards.
Conduct sustainability assessments of our projects, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement action plans to achieve our sustainability goals.
Keep uptodate with industry trends and best practices in sustainability, and integrate them into our sustainability strategy.
Provide training and support to our employees to help them understand the importance of sustainability and how they can contribute to our sustainability goals.
Monitor and report on our sustainability performance, and communicate our progress to our clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a sustainability role, preferably in the construction or design industry.
Strong knowledge of sustainable design and construction practices, and experience implementing sustainability strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritise sustainability opportunities and challenges.
A passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.
Experience delivering projects to BREEAM, WELL, and SKA standards.
