Home Tutor - Croxton Kerrial, near Grantham

2-4 Days per week depending on your preference.

Salary FTE*We are seeking a Tutor or Teaching Assistant to provide education support 1:1 within the home of a young person of secondary age, who is currently out of a traditional school setting due to SEMH needs.

The young person is supported by an Education provider and is awaiting a place within an SEMH school.

No personal care required. Parent or carer will be present at all times during the sessions.

Full support will be provided by the Education Care Provider.


As a Tutor you will be supporting the young person by building up their life skills and helping young people learn to develop on a 1:1 basis, giving them confidence and reassurance to flourish within their next steps of Education.

To be successful in this role you must have the following:
Have experience supporting young people on a one-to-one basis either as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor.

Be able to build rapport with children and encourage them to learn

Have a creative approach to your teaching style.

Clear communication both written and verbal
