    Description

    An opportunity has arisen for Connected Car Engineers to support our global automotive client, based in Bedfordshire, in their vision to deliver the most distinct and innovative range of road vehicles, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The roles are for an ongoing contract.

    The successful Connected Car Engineer will be responsible for:


    • Investigating Market issues related to connected services and provide appropriate solutions


    • Utilise analytical tools to understand trends and find the root cause


    • Raise incident tickets and track through to closure


    • Analyse system logs and error logs to find the root cause


    • Utilise and enhance MS Azure OMS Queries to debug and triage concerns

    Background and experience required for the role of Connected Car Engineer:


    • Ideally Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline


    • Experience in automotive electrical and electronic development relating to vehicle body electronics, navigation or telematics systems


    • Knowledge of the electrical architecture of modern vehicle electronics and experience of fault finding


    • Awareness of Connected car system onboard & offboard


    • Experience on platform health monitoring in cloud platform system - preferably Azure


    • Skilled in using web-based & standalone tools


    • Experience of MS Azure OMS & Kusto Query is an advantage but not essential


    • Excellent communication skills.


    • Valid UK / European driving licence is essential
