- Carry out vehicle health checks as part of a flow line.
- Perform PDI's and PDC's following manufacturer specifications on prep tick sheets.
- Manage check sheet completion through the AssetCare system on a tablet.
- Work with the Garage Support and Technician Team to ensure consistent productivity in the Workshop.
- Complete all mechanical job-related documentation accurately.
- Detect vehicle defects and report to the Damage Controller if repairs are not possible on-site.
- Occasionally perform minor repairs, servicing, and tyre replacements.
- Maintain company equipment and tools in a clean, safe condition.
- Follow health and safety procedures, keep the workshop area clean, and wear relevant PPE.
- Take responsibility for housekeeping within the work area.
- Perform any other duties as required from time to time.
- City & Guilds 1 & 2 in Motor Vehicle Studies or Higher BTEC.
- Relevant experience in a workshop environment.
- Good awareness of quality standards.
- Professional attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
- Completion of Manufacturer's training courses.
- Good industry knowledge/awareness.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to achieve high standards independently.

M4 Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle PDC Technician Assistant for their client located in Chipping Warden. This position starts as temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent, and you can start right away.
Job Role
To work in the Flow Workshop as part of a small team, maintaining vehicles according to specific manufacturer guidelines and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and maintaining high standards to meet client demands. You will be working alongside other Technicians, interacting with the Technical Services office, Inspection team, and Client Services.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday
Pay: Between £12 & £14 per hour
