£Our client, a growing and leading business currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Officer. With a a growing commercial department, they offer fantastic development and progression opportunities for commercial professionals.

The role holder will have the opportunity to lead the commercial negotiation of new business with both new and existing clients.

This role will be responsible for leading contract negotiations for deals across multiple market sectors within the company. Ideally you will come from a law/business degree background and have started your journey in a commercial contracts function.

Identify the risks, liabilities and commitments of contractual agreements; Reviewing, drafting, updating and maintaining contract documents
Monitoring and reporting performance and compliance against contractual obligations including commercial performance, financial management and contract management
Monitoring customer satisfaction

Working with the contract delivery teams to ensure that the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts.

Reporting on progress of change requests and projects
Reviewing contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risk
Assuring adherence to Group Commercial Policy

Supporting the client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve the orders, profit and cash budget and overall management of the Client relationship.

Support the delivery streams who are responsible for the delivery of projects and provide clear direction working with the client engagement team.

Experience of working in a pre contract signature environment.
Good on both the legals and financials.
