- Handle Individual Protection claims from start to finish within predefined authority levels and service benchmarks:
- Evaluate claims in line with our claims philosophy and policy terms.
- Engage with stakeholders such as members, clients, medical professionals, intermediaries, and regulatory bodies as needed to gather information, explain requirements and decisions, and address appeals or complaints.
- Foster relationships with intermediaries and service providers.
- Contribute ideas for refining the claims process, driving innovation within our operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to deepen understanding of our business and contribute to best practices.
- Represent our company at industry gatherings and forums.
- Minimum GCSEs or equivalent
- Experience in assessing medical and financial claims across various product lines
- Proficiency in computer usage, numerical and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with resilience and reliability
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and proactive workload management
- Degree or equivalent CII qualification
- Previous experience with image and workflow systems
