- Installing and commissioning BMS hardware components, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and network equipment.
- Programming BMS software to optimise building system performance and energy efficiency.
- Conducting thorough testing and commissioning of BMS systems to ensure functionality.
- Providing training to building operators and maintenance staff on BMS interface usage.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks and system upgrades for optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing BMS component and system issues, implementing timely solutions.
- Collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to integrate BMS systems seamlessly with other building systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience working with building management systems (BMS) is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in programming and configuring BMS software and hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to building management systems.
