Direct Production Buyer

Pay Rate:
up to £41.46/hr Ltd (inside IR35)

Division:
Purchasing

Contract Position based at:
Whitley

Position
Direct Production Buyer required for 12 month contract opportunity


Reporting to the Purchasing Manager this role will see you have responsibility for supporting the in-house build plan for an existing engine.

You will complete a streamlined sourcing process & GSP steps to secure sourcing for this project, working integrallywith engineering, quality (STA) & plant logistics teams to ensure the optimum solution for the business.


Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Negotiation of new business award
  • Business Case modelling & analysis
  • Contract Negotiation experience
  • Maintaining compliance with standards and policies
  • Delivering complex supply chain solutions in a fast paced, high pressure manufacturing environment
  • Stakeholder engagement & management

Preferred:


  • An individual with a proven record in delivering results in both favourable and unfavourable conditions
  • The ability to challenge in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
  • Experience of working in a global, multicultural environment

Education

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience
