Our client, a leading transport & logistics solution provider with exciting plans for future growth is expanding it's 4PL logistics team by recruiting a Logistics Broker to be based at offices near Nuneaton

Main Purpose:
The Logistics Broker / Account Manager will work within a 4PL operation, providing a one stop management service for client's transport & logistics needs, by taking care of the process from start through to finish, minimising risk for the client and protecting their services

Duties & Responsibilities:
Working closely with existing customers and subcontractors to enable continued growth.
Maintaining relationships with existing Haulier partners / customers.
Resource / allocate loads on a daily basis achieving best possible margin.

Ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and in line with customer expectationsMonitor delivery performance and notify customers with any delays.

Work to set targets in line with operational KPI's.
Ensure all information is accurate and up to date within TMS.


To Be Considered:

Strong customer service / account management skillsDemonstrate good commercial awarenessIdeally transport or logistics industry experience, however, other industries will be consideredHappy to work in a fast-paced environmentHappy to cover on call on a rota basis, 1 week in 6.
