Our client a leading membership body based in Farringdon, London is currently looking for a Customer Service Officer to work at their offices 1 day a week, 4 days at home.
If you are a recent graduate with 6 months to 1 year experience in a similar environment either working for a trade association, professional body, chartered institute, regulatory body, further education, higher education, university, training provider,awarding body etc.
The Role of Customer Service Officer
Reporting to the Head of Membership and Professional Standards, the Graduate Membership Officer will play a key role in supporting activities across the Membership Team, including supporting admission into Professional Registration.
Key Responsibilities
Support applicants undertaking Individual Assessment for Council registrations, acting as the first point of call for queries
Supporting periodic licence reviews, the implementation of updated standards and promotion of activities
Supporting annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) audit of members
Provide support to the Membership and Professional Standards Manager during professional review interviews for Chartered members
Provide administrative support for membership committees, including the Professional Standards Committee, Qualifications Panel and Early Careers Network
Manage individual member records within the CRM and help to develop this system to ensure that it meets the current and future needs of the institute
Support the organisation's commitment to quality management and compliance with ISO certification requirements
Support the organisation's compliance with GDPR
Person Specification
Essentials
Excellent time management, organisational, planning and administrative skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office 365
Experience working with CRM systems (ideally CiviCRM)
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and engage effectively within a team as well as networking and promoting the institute externally
A problem-solving approach to work
Excellent written and spoken English with close attention to detail
Flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills
Desirables
Experience in a professional body or equivalent
