Housing Legal Officer Locum, 3 month rolling contract Full time London £25 per hour umbrella co.

A well-regarded Local Authority Based in London are seeking a Housing Legal Officer to join their friendly team on a locum basis.

This is a fantastic opportunityfor an experienced Housing Legal Officer to join a well-regarded Local Authority's housing team on an initial 3-month contract with the view for extension.

The role is predominantly remote working, though they would ideally want the successful Housing legalOfficer in the office one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

To support the lawyers and senior lawyers with a caseload of legal work, including personal responsibility for matters, including, but not limited to, carrying out research, drafting court pleadings,statements and correspondence, preparation of bundles and instructions to counsel, telephone conversations with customers and third parties in respect of cases, attendance at court with counsel as required, and at meetings with customers and third parties.
To provide support if required to strategic projects across multifunctional teams.
To work with the Administrative Support Team to ensure that all support tasks are carried out at the relevant level.
